been away for a long long while.
work is absolutely overwhelming + all the other commitments at church + stuff to settle like flat hunting etc. at the end of each day im too tired to blog.
kinda grown out of the photo-whoring phase where i snap photos of everything and anyplace i go.. think its a year 1 syndrome where ure excited about the new places and things u see.
anyway, been quite tired from work.
recovering from a flu now.
still in the midst of PBLs- muscles and motor control-really a bad block, so tough. neurology isnt my cup of tea. when i was doing embryo and gyn and paeds i thot it was quite bad. but looking back, i think id rather do those stuff than the brain? and the ANS and muscles...and all that neurophysiology and anatomy and pharmacology.
we gotta learn OSCEs as well, which makes things more challenging..
basically, year 2 is bad.
if i havent replied to any of your emails and msgs, im sorrie!
ill do so asap when i can ya.. can hardly sleep 5 hours a day!
but i do remember singapore, BMC and my friends. jsut hearing of petrina being back home and reading jess's blog makes me so sad:(
just decided to take a wee break from work to upload some photos and update a bit.
more photos coming up!
but i must say, despite the pressure from work, my spiritual life has been rewarding.
its not always smooth sailing, but it def is that one thing that gives me hope and ocnfidence to move on everyday. God has been good and faithful to me, and I am joyful and comforted by His presence EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of my life, despite how tough situations can be.
currently preparing for a dance for evangelistic guest service on sunday, hope it works out well. if it does, itd probably be my favourite piece of work till date.
May it bless the congregation.

19 nov- fidelia (nottingham NUS exchange for psychology) was on her scotland tour. she went over to visit weiwei in edinburgh and they both came over on sunday to shop and see me! met them after chinese church, and we went to Asian Style kitchen for dinner, before they journeyed back to edin. weiwei was my sec 4 classmate who went to concord for As. oh and if you've away from home from some time and miss authentic malaysian/singapore food this is the pace to go. one thing Glasgow can take pride in!
18 nov- it was alpha getaway day, where there was teaching on the Holy Spirit. havent been to alpha since the 2nd session as i was too busy & had other priorities at GCCC... but yeah, joined them anyway. these people are really great. steve picked us up at my place on sat morning and we took a 1.5 hr drive all the way up north, near Helensborough, to Kilcraggen House. cant describe any more better in words, but this is one of the most authentic fellowship ive been in.Thank God:)
4th nov- end of block 7 weekend. we were meant to go to edinburgh to climb arthur seed but someone fell ill. niece and siewyee organised some "chink night" thingy at Garage, so we all decided to go for the fun of it. 1st time clubbing in glasgow. not doing it anytime soon i think. too busy.....it was quite alright. 6/10 on the fun scale.
not nice photo! but i want to show you the nice university tower at the background. 15 october- after vineyard church in the morning, we didnt join the rest for lunch before going for chinese church in the afternoon as we had to return some library books at the main library. so we packed some wraps from M&S and had a wee picnic by university avenue
12 October- for some reason, we had dinner at niece's posh apartment (Glasgow Harbour). oh! i rmb it was Sean's 21st. i also rmb having the 1st family project visit in the mornign and lectures and what not.. and having to rush off for cell after this dinner. It was sooooo tiring. and we were in the midst of PBL 7.4/5? horrid obs & gyn
